Directions to Bluffton

Use regional maps to get to Interstate-75, then use directions below to get to Bluffton University campus.

Note that on the north side of campus, Elm Street will be closed between Spring and Bentley Streets, beginning Oct. 1, 2018.

ARRIVING FROM THE NORTH ON I-75 with Elm Street Closed: 

Take exit 142 and turn west (right) onto State Route 103. At first stop sign, turn left onto Main Street. Travel through the uptown area and turn right onto College Avenue, next to Bluffton High School.

College Avenue runs through the heart of campus. To go to the admissions office, turn right onto Spring Street (the first stop sign past the Bluffton University entrance). The admissions welcome center is located in the Houshower House, the first house on your left (146 South Spring Street). Park in the parking lot right beside the Houshower House. 

ARRIVING FROM THE SOUTH ON I-75 with Elm Street Closed: 

Take exit 140 and turn west (left) onto Bentley Road. At first stop sign, turn right onto Main Street. Turn left onto College Avenue, next to Bluffton High School.

College Avenue runs through the heart of campus. To go to the admissions office, turn right onto Spring Street (the first stop sign past the Bluffton University entrance). The admissions welcome center is located in the Houshower House, the first house on your left (146 South Spring Street). Park in the parking lot right beside the Houshower House. 

Arriving from the north (I-75 from Findlay, Bowling Green, Toledo, etc.):

Use exit 142 (Route 103 exit), turn right. Continue past restaurants, through blinking yellow light, over railroad tracks to stop sign. Turn left onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street one block and turn right at the stop light onto Elm Street. Continue on Elm Street approximately one-half mile, turning left on Rosenberger Drive into campus. (Continue on Elm Street past Rosenberger to stop sign at Bentley Road for football, soccer, baseball, softball and track).

Arriving from the south (I-75 from Lima, Dayton, Cincinnati, etc.):

Use exit 142 (Route 103 exit), turn left. Continue past restaurants, through blinking yellow light, over railroad tracks to stop sign. Turn left onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street one block and turn right at the stop light onto Elm Street. Continue on Elm Street approximately one-half mile, turning left on Rosenberger Drive into campus. (Continue on Elm Street past Rosenberger to stop sign at Bentley Road for football, soccer, baseball, softball and track).    

Directions to Sears Athletic Complex:

From campus directions (see above), continue on Elm Street to four way stop sign at Bentley Road. Team bus (football and soccer) proceed straight then turn left into special parking zone. Baseball and softball teams and all others, turn left onto Bentley Road, continue for approximately 300 yards. Turn right into main parking lot. Baseball/softball teams continue to the back parking lot.   

Bluffton University Athletic Facilities

  • Sommer Center (men's and women's basketball, volleyball) is located in the center of campus.
  • Emery Sears Athletic Complex (football, baseball, softball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's track and field) is located on the west edge of campus.
