Kim is originally from Ottoville, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree in athletic training at the Miami University in 2006. Kim earned her master's degree in physical education from Wright State University in 2008. She has been at Bluffton since August 2008. Kim currently resides in Bluffton with her husband Larry and dog Achilles.
