The Bluffton University men's basketball team placed five individuals on the Dean's List for the 2006 fall semester. In addition, 10 more Beavers finished with a grade point average above 3.0 for the semester.
Seniors ERIC SCHWIETERMAN (St. Henry/St. Henry) and DAVID PATCH (Minster/Minster) were joined on the Dean's List by sophomore AARON MASS (Tiffin/Calvert) and freshmen ZACK KRAUS (Findlay/Findlay) and JORDAN POTHAST (Ottawa/Ottawa-Glandorf).
Finishing the fall semester with a 3.0 GPA or higher were seniors MIKE ANTHONY (Ohio City/Delphos St. John's) TOM HEIL (Stow/Archbishop Hoban) and RICKY REUCHER(Toledo/Central Catholic). Juniors PJ JUENGER (Loveland/Archbishop Moeller) and NATE OVERMYER (Payne/Wayne Trace) both ended the semester above a 3.0 GPA. Four sophomores, DREW CLADY (Holgate/New Bavaria), COLT CUNNINGHAM (Powell/Worthington Christian), JUSTIN RUFENACHT (Wauseon/Pettisville) and JOSIAH STOBER(Spencerville/Spencerville), along with freshman CHRIS SINGLETON (Ada/Ada), completed the semester with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
The men's basketball team will look to start another winning streak when it travels to Manchester College on Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in North Manchester, Indiana.
