The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference recently announced the winter honorees of the HCAC All-Academic awards for the 2017-18 school year. Fifteen Bluffton University athletes were recognized for their efforts in the classroom.
Bluffton senior Kevin Christie put an exclamation point on his record-setting season by being named Second Team All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference! Christie took home his first post-season All-HCAC hardware after leading the Beavers to their first Heartland Conference tournament since 2014-15.

The Bluffton University men's basketball squad hit the court at Hanover College to face off against the Panthers in the opening round of the HCAC Tournament. Competing in their first HCAC Tournament since the 2014-15 season, the Beavers were unable to stop the offensive power of Hanover as the Panthers ended Bluffton's season (88-78).
The Bluffton University men's basketball team faced off against Franklin College in a crucial win or go home situation to get into the HCAC tournament on Saturday, Feb. 17. It was also Senior Day for the home team as they celebrated the last game on Copeland Court for Kevin Christie, Andrew Hunter and Austin Buchholz.
The Bluffton University men’s basketball squad hit the road to face off against the Manchester University Spartans for its last road contest of the 2017-18 regular season. After a back-and-forth first half, the Spartans were able to take advantage of a second half spurt for an 85-81 victory.
