FINDLAY, Ohio - The Bluffton University Men's Golf Team tackled a challenging field on Saturday at the Ohio Cup on Saturday, Sept. 8. Rain did not keep the Beavers from dialing it up for 36 holes at Red Hawk Run in Findlay, Ohio.
Spencer Daniels (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) topped the Bluffton contingent with a 185. Fellow freshman Carter Mumbower (Newport, MI/Airport) was just off the pace with a 191. He and Daniels both shot 89's on the second 18. Sophomore Takoda Pratt (Shelby, Ohio/Shelby) and Michael Fimiani (Willoughby, Ohio/Willoughby) rounded out the Bluffton scorers with 193 and 197, respectively.
Bluffton jumps right back into action on Tuesday, Sept. 11, when the men travel to Wauseon for the Jon P. Spiess Memorial at Ironwood Golf Club.
