Beavers shoot a 342 at the Lourdes Invitational

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. - The Bluffton University men's golf team shook off the rust with a team score of 342 at the Lourdes Invitational on Wednesday, Sept. 25. It was the first competition for the men since the Ohio Cup on September 7.

The Beavers played cart golf with all eight players scoring between 84 and 90. Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) led the way with fellow freshmen Nathan Eberle (Grove City) and Clay Quellhorst (New Bremen/St. Marys Memorial) and sophomore Carter Mumbower (Newport, MI/Airport) all just one stroke back at 85.

Sophomore Nick Offenburger (Lexington) and junior Takoda Pratt (Mansfield/Shelby) checked in with identical 88's. Spencer Daniels (Ashland) finished with an 89 and Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) rounded out the scoring with a 90.

Bluffton will jump right back into action on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Dan Quayle Collegiate Golf Classic hosted by DePauw University.
