Bluffton fires a 641 at MVNU Fall Cougar Classic

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team traveled to Mount Vernon for the Fall Cougar Classic on Saturday, Oct. 5. The 36-hole tournament was all played on Saturday with the Beavers taking a respectable 6th place finish out of nine teams.

Freshman Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) led the charge with a 157 (78-79). Coming in right behind Kujawa were Spencer Daniels (Ashland) and Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) who shot 159 and 160, respectively. Freshman Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) finished with a 167 and Takoda Pratt (Mansfield/Shelby) rounded out the scoring with a 172.

The men will tee it up for one final tournament this fall on Saturday, Oct. 19, when they head to the Denison Fall Shoot Out at Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.
