MSJ rallies for 2-1 overtime win over Bluffton

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's soccer team led for nearly 65 minutes before Mount St. Joseph knocked in the equalizer with less than 14 minutes left in regulation on a cold Wednesday, Oct. 17. The Lions ended it when Sergi Dole found the back of the net just over three minutes into the first extra session for a come-from-behind 2-1 victory. Freshman Dalton Taynor (Troy, Ohio/Miami East) put the Beavers up 1-0 at the 11:29 mark with his team-best sixth goal of the season. The spread held up until Zachary Tegge knotted it late in period two.

The Lions finished with a 16-9 advantage in shots, but the Beavers put one more on frame (8-7). MSJ froced all nine corner kicks in the match and the home team was whistled for two more fouls (11-9)
