The Bluffton University women's golf team shattered its four-day old record on Wednesday, Sept. 4, when the Beavers put up a 367 at the Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, Michigan! Bluffton took sixth overall, besting host Lourdes College by nearly 40 strokes.
Sophomore Keely Briggs (Franklin) and freshman Marissa Hall (Avon Lake) equaled Brylee Oberdorf's (Green Springs/Clyde) school record with a pair of 90's on Wednesday! Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central), Abby Bullion (Bellevue) and Oberdorf needed a microscope to separate their scorecards as they went 93-94-95, respectively. Bluffton's 367 bettered the newly-minted school record by an astonishing 15 shots at Legacy!
The Beavers are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Ironwood Golf Club in Wauseon for the Defiance College Invite.
