HANOVER, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's soccer team ran into a buzzsaw at Hanover College, dropping a 4-0 decision to the Panthers on Saturday, Oct. 13. Bluffton fell to 1-11-1 overall and 0-5 in the Heartland Conference, while Hanover improved to 12-1 and 5-0 in the HCAC.
The Panthers went up 3-0 at the half on the strength of 18 shots. Hanover tacked on another tally with just over 15 minutes to play en route to the 4-0 shutout. Sophomore Sienna Sullivan (Columbus, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) notched 14 saves against a Panther squad that forced all 13 corner kicks in their victory.
Bluffton will return to the Sears Complex for a 3 p.m. matchup with Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday, Oct. 17. Come out and support your Beavers!
