Avery Howell, a native of Mobile, Alabama, is in her first year as an assistant coach with the Bluffton University women's soccer program. She was a four-year letterman and starter for Murphy High School's basketball and soccer teams. She also played for the Gulf Coast Rangers, now known as Union 10 FC.

 

She continued her soccer career at Radford University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and won two Big South Conference championships.
