Bluffton, Ohio - Bluffton University junior Parker Reynolds (Avon) earnd the first Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week award for the 2019 baseball season. It marks his first Hitter of the Week award as a Beaver.

Reynolds hit a homer and drove in four runs in Bluffton's 10-3 win over Rivier on Sunday as the Beavers kicked off 2019 with a 2-0 mark. The junior backstop slugged 1.125 with seven RBI and two runs in the first two games.

The Beavers (2-4, 0-0 HCAC) are off Wednesday before a 9 a.m. matchup with Thiel College from Fort Myers, Fla. on Thursday, March 7.
