Beavers wrap up Dan Quayle Classic with 321 on Sunday

CLAYTON, Ind. - The Bluffton University men's golf team dropped four strokes from it Saturday score when the Beavers shot a 321 at the Deer Creek Golf Club on Sunday, Sept. 29. Bluffton tied for ninth place at the Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic after shooting a 646 for the weekend.

Freshman Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) fired Bluffton's best round of the tournament with his 77 on Sunday. Coupled with his 83 from Saturday, Kujawa paced the Beavers with a 160 for the weekend. Sophomore Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) was one shot back of Kujawa thanks to a 78 on day two.

Shooting an 82 for the second straight day was Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) who was four strokes back of Kujawa for team-low honors with a 164. Takoda Pratt (Mansfield/Shelby) and Nathan Eberle (Grove City) went 84 and 89, respectively, on Sunday.

Bluffton is back on the links when the Beavers travel to Mount Vernon Nazarene for the Cougar Classic on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 8:30 a.m.
