Haley Horstman is currently in her second year as a member of the Bluffton University Women’s Basketball coaching staff. She played basketball and graduated from the University of Findlay, Ohio, in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Business and Marketing. During her first year at Bluffton, Horstman helped the Beavers to a 14-13 mark while reaching the second round of the HCAC tournament.

As a player, Horstman was a four-year starter at UF and was named a captain her junior and senior years. Her senior year she became a 1,000-point career scorer and earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference Second-Team award. She also helped lead her team to a 22-8 record, making it to the GMAC Tournament Championship and to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Horstman was also on the Dean’s List each semester, achieving a 3.50 GPA and she received Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Team her sophomore and junior years.

Prior to UF, Horstman graduated from New Knoxville High School, where she was a four-year varsity letter winner in basketball, volleyball and track. She received multiple all-conference, all-Ohio, and all-district accolades and now holds the career scoring record for girls’ basketball at New Knoxville.
