Women drop 27 strokes on day two of Beaver Fall Classic

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's golf team shot its best round of the year on day two of the Beaver Fall Classic! The Beavers fired a 414, giving Bluffton an 855 and 8th place finish at Hidden Creek Golf Club.

Freshman Brylee Oberdorf (Green Springs, Ohio/Clyde) was spot on with a 90 for the lowest score by a Bluffton woman this year. She shot a team-best 194 for the weekend. Abby Bullion (Bellevue, Ohio) also cracked 100 with a 98 for a 212 at the Classic. Keely Briggs (Franklin, Ohio) and Kourtney Kretschmar (Greenville, Ohio) shot 111 and 115, respectively, giving them 214 and 235 for the tournament.

Ohio Northern bested Franklin College for the tournament championship with Lydia Cramer of the Polar Bears taking home medalist honors thanks to a 157 (83-74).

Bluffton returns to action when the Beavers head to Liberty Country Club in Liberty, Ind., for the HCAC Preview on Saturday, Sept. 29.
