LIBERTY, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's golf team welcomed the change in temperatures with a 454 on day one of the Heartland Conference championships at Liberty Country Club on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018.

Abby Bullion (Bellevue, Ohio) and Brylee Oberdorf (Green Springs, Ohio/Clyde) were separated by just two strokes at 106 and 108 on the top of Bluffton's leaderboard. Keely Briggs (Franklin, Ohio) checked in with a 114 and Kourtney Kretschmar (Greenville, Ohio) rounded out the foursome with a 126 on Saturday.

Bluffton is back at Liberty, Ind., for round two of the Heartland Conference championships on Sunday, Oct. 14, with a 9 a.m. start.
