Beavers fire school record 355 at UNOH Fall Invitational

LIMA, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's golf team shot a school-record 355 on day one of the UNOH Fall Invitational which was staged at Hidden Creek Golf Club. Day one of the final tuneup prior to the HCAC Championship at Bluffton on October 12-13 saw the Beavers shave 12 strokes off their previous record of 367 set at Defiance earlier this season.

Sophomore Keely Briggs (Franklin) led the way with an 86, just one stroke off Brylee Oberdorf's (Green Springs/Clyde) school mark for 18 holes. Oberdorf was superb as well, firing an 87. Freshman Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) checked in with a 90, while Abby Bullion (Bellevue) and Marissa Hall (Avon) rounded out the scoring with a pair of 92's.

Grace Branson (Carlisle) shot a 95 and fellow freshman Elizabeth Rockwell (St. Henry) tallied a 105 as individuals on Sunday.

Bluffton is back at Hidden Creek on Monday at 9 a.m. to cap off the UNOH Fall Invitational as the Beavers play their last round heading into the 2019 Heartland Conference championship.
