Beavers wrap up fall slate at HCAC Championship

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's golf team capped off a successful 2019 fall slate by hosting the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship. Rose-Hulman claimed its first HCAC title when it finished the weekend with a 660, winning by a whopping 39 strokes.

Leading the way for Bluffton was sophomore Abby Bullion (Bellevue) who shot a 96 for a tournament total of 187. Freshman Marissa Hall (Avon) followed up her 96 from Saturday with a 102 on Sunday for a 198.

Checking in with Bluffton's low score of 95 on Sunday was sophomore Brylee Oberdorf (Green Springs/Clyde) who ended the fall with a 201. Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) and Keely Briggs (Franklin) rounded out the Beaver scorecard with rounds that added up to 203 and 215, respectively.

Bluffton will return to the links in March when the team travels to Pinehurst, North Carolina, for spring break after the calendar turns over a new page to 2020!
