HANOVER, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's soccer team traveled to Hanover for their first HCAC contest of the season, but the Panthers proved to be too much as they outscored Bluffton, 11-0, on Saturday, Oct. 4.

Hanover took the lead early, less than two minutes in, and never looked back as they went into the half leading 7-0. The home team continued to find the back of the net in the second half, scoring four more goals for the 11-0 shutout. KATIE NEELEY (Huber Heights/Wayne) had six saves for Bluffton and BRITTANY HUFF (Union/Northmont) finished with two shots, both on goal, to lead the attack for the visitors. The Beavers are now 3-7 (0-1 HCAC) on the season, while Hanover improved to 7-3 (1-0 HCAC).

Bluffton travels to Anderson University in Indiana to take on the Ravens for their next conference match on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.
