Ellie Braidic, a native of Pandora, Ohio, enters his first season as a Bluffton University assistant track and field coach for the 2019-20 campaign.

A 2012 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School where she participated in volleyball and track and field, Braidic was the 2010 Ohio high school state pole vault champion. She continued her track and field career at Eastern Michigan University as a pole vaulter. Braidic was the 2015 MAC indoor pole vault champion with a mark of 4.03 meters/13 feet 2.50 inches. She currently holds the second highest indoor pole vault mark in Eastern Michigan University’s history with a mark of 4.17 meters/13 feet 8.25 inches.

Braidic earned a bachelor of science in psychology from Eastern Michigan in 2016 and then went on to obtain a master of science in occupational therapy at Western Michigan University in 2018.

In 2019, Braidic was a volunteer pole vault coach for Pandora-Gilboa High School.
