Visiting Team Information

We welcome your team to Bluffton and would like to inform you of the supplies and facilities available to you and your team while visiting Bluffton.

Training Room:

The Bluffton athletic training room is located in the lower level of the Sommer Center.
 
Hours: It is available for treatments and taping 1  hour prior to the start of the contest. Taping services and additional training room times can be easily arranged upon request.
 
Modalities: Therapeutic modalities, including ultrasound and electrical stimulation, are available for use by a certified athletic trainer or an athletic training student with a written prescription form from an ATC or a physician. Modalities are only available at the Sommer Center, please allow plenty of time before contests if these services are needed for fall and spring sports seasons.
 
Taping: A taping table will placed in your locker room. We gladly offer taping services. If you need US to tape, please make arrangements via email 24 hours in advance. (Please send along all the necessary supplies.)
 
Contests:

The following will be provided on the bench:
 
Ice water (Water bottles will be supplied/cups if requested.)
 
Cooler with ice bags will be behind each bench.
First aid supplies

Biohazard bag and trash can

Emergency first aid supplies (splints, crutches, etc.) will be on hand in the athletic training room.
