BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University senior Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week for men's golf.

Kujawa powered the Beavers with a 147, securing a first-place tie while breaking his own school record by two strokes at the Beaver Fall Classic on Saturday and Sunday. Kujawa rallied from six strokes down to force a playoff before falling to Wooster's Krishang Nayak on the first extra hole Sunday afternoon. His 71 tied Kujawa for sixth all-time at Bluffton (18 holes).

A fantastic fall is now in the books for Kujawa who averaged a team-low 77.10 strokes across 10 rounds, nearly four strokes better than anyone else at Bluffton and he is just a quarter of a stroke behind Scott Bergman for number one all-time.
