Men shoot school-record 12 over on Sunday

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team tied for 3rd place at the Bluffton Spring Invite on Sunday, April 2. With the blustery winds and hail from Saturday in the rearview mirror, the Beavers showed out with a 300 on Sunday. The 12-over par established a new school mark for 18 holes!

Leading the way was senior Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) who tied for 6th with a 74. Nathan Eberle (Grove City) and Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) both checked in with 75's and Hunter Jolliff (Elida) rounded out the scoring four with a 76 on Sunday.

Sophomore Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) paced the 'B' Team with a 75, giving Bluffton five players who carded scores between 74 and 76! Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) went for 81, Nick Offenburger (Lexington) 83, Justin Metsker (Burbank/Wickliffe) 84 and Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) 88 for the Beavers.

The Bluffton men will jump back into action on Friday, April 7, when they make the short trip to Colonial Golf Club outside Lima for the ONU Invite.
