Bluffton men cap Easter Invite with a 313

HARROD, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team capped off a beautiful weekend of golf with a 313 on Saturday, April 8. Coupled with a marvelous 304 on Good Friday, the Beavers took third (617) at the ONU Easter Invite, just nine strokes back of Denison and eight behind ONU's top squad.

Senior Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) capped off his consistent weekend with a 74 after shooting 75 on Friday. His 149 was tied for 3rd overall at the Easter weekend tournament. Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) and Nathan Eberle (Grove City) went 155 and 157, both finishing in the top 15.

Sophomore Hunter Jolliff (Elida) and senior Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) were two strokes apart, shooting 161 and 163, respectively.

The Bluffton individuals also had strong showings over the weekend. Justin Metsker (Burbank/Wickliffe) shot an 80 on Saturday for a total of 162 at Colonial. Nick Offenburger (Lexington) and Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) were nipping at his heels with final scores of 163 and 164, respectively, while Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) shot 86 and 88 for a 176.

Bluffton will hit the links again in two weeks for the Earlham Invite at the Richmond Elks on Sunday, April 23, and Monday, April 24.
