BLUFFTON, Ohio -  Angel Velasco-Urbina (Lexington, Ky./Henry Clay) has been named the Heartland Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in leading Bluffton to the Heartland Conference Tournament last week. It marks his second HCAC Player of the Week honor for the freshman this season.

Velasco-Urbina chalked up his fourth shutout of the season thanks to six saves against the Spartans on Wednesday night. The win sent Bluffton to its first ever Heartland Conference tournament where the visitors dispatched No. 3 seed Anderson 1-0 on Saturday.

Bluffton will travel to number 2 seed Hanover College for a 2 p.m. kickoff in the Heartland Conference semi-final on Wednesday, Nov. 3.
