Hazem Sobhy is in in first year as a graduate assistant coach for the Bluffton University Men's Soccer Team. Sobhy is from Cairo, Egypt and graduated from the American International School of Egypt.

He played three years at Ottawa University Arizona (NAIA) where he was 3rd Team NCCAA All-American and All-Conference GSAC. Following that, he spent two years at the University of Akron (NCAA D1) where he helped lead the Zips to the national tournament in 2021.

Sobhy currently resides in Bluffton where he will pursue a master's degree at Bluffton University.
