Bluffton caps off weekend at Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio - The Bluffton University swimming and diving team showed out at the Baldwin Wallace Fall Duals on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22-23, 2022. Records fell as Bluffton battled B-W, Hiram and the Lady Barons.

Freshman Sydney Grisier (Defiance/Tinora) won the 1-meter dive for the second time in two meets! Grisier and Addie Hilden (Lima/Shawnee) both made their mark with top-10 finishes at Baldwin Wallace while also placing themselves in the top 5 of the Bluffton record book in numerous events.

The men's side saw freshmen Keevan Lee (Mount Cory/Cory-Rawson) and Riley Bruns (Maria Stein/Marion Local) had another solid weekend for the Beavers. Lee moved to the top of the Bluffton record books in four events, while Bruns broke his own school record in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:13.47.

Bluffton will be back in the pool on Saturday, Nov. 5, when the Beavers travel to the College of Wooster.
