DELAWARE, Ohio - The Bluffton University swimming and diving team headed to Ohio Wesleyan where they took on the Battling Bishops and the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023.

Freshman Riley Bruns (Maria Stein/Marion Local) came up just two hundredths of a second shy of his school record 24.78 in the 50-yard freestyle on Friday night and making it three placements in the top 5 of Bluffton's record book. He also moved into 3rd place all-time with a 1:28.26 in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Keevan Lee (Mount Cory/Cory-Rawson) also lit up the record book on Friday with a 2:36.54, good for 2nd all time in the 200-yard IM, at Ohio Wesleyan.

Showing out with a pair of top 5 all-time performances was freshman Sydney Grisier (Bryan) who scored 117.55 points in the 1-meter dive and swam a 31.43 in the 50-yard freestyle.

Bluffton will be back in the pool next Saturday, Jan 28, when they travel to HCAC-rival Hanover College.
