Paige Jansen named Head Softball Coach

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Paige Jansen has been named as Bluffton University's next head softball coach.

"I am beyond thankful and excited for this opportunity to work with the student athletes to rebuild the legacy of Bluffton softball," said Jansen. "I am also looking forward to working with the faculty and staff at Bluffton as we carry out the mission and enduring values of Bluffton University."

Jansen most recently served as the Findlay High School head coach where the team went 43-28, broke nine school records and tied for the most wins in a season in school history. She also has been the head coach of the Blackhawks travel team since 2011 with a record of 259-92, winning multiple tournaments including a National title and a National runners-up title.

She graduated with a bachelor's from the University of Findlay in 2003 with a focus in communication and broadcast journalism.

The Beavers are an NCAA DIII school and compete as part of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Bluffton has 18 intercollegiate athletic teams including men's and women's basketball, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field. Bluffton also offers football and baseball for men and softball and volleyball for women.
