BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Bobbi Adams (Delaware/Rutherford B. Hayes) has been named the Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week for her work at Winter Haven and Auburndale, Fla. last week. It marks the second straight week that a Bluffton softball player has been honored by the HCAC. Erin Norman (Pleasant Hill/Newton) was named Pitcher of the Week last Monday.  

Adams tore the cover off the ball, hitting .524 with 15 hits in 24 at bats as the Beavers went 4-4 on the week. She led Bluffton with 12 RBI, two homers and a .786 slugging percentage. Adams finished the week with a .533 on base percentage and struck out just once in eight games 

The Beavers will be back on the field in a home doubleheader with Heidelberg University on Thursday, March 16, for a series that was bumped back from Wednesday due to inclement weather. Game one is slated to start at 3:30 p.m.
