Adams named First Team All-HCAC

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bobbi Adams (Delaware/Rutherford B. Hayes) was rewarded for her stellar senior campaign when the 2023 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Awards were announced. She earned her third straight honor, collecting 1st Team All-HCAC in all three years in which the awards were handed out! It marked the first time since 2013-15 that a Beaver has racked up three straight First Team All-HCAC honors (Ariana Muffo).

Adams dominated opposing pitching with a .421 batting average for the season, tying for 3rd in the Heartland Conference, while going 48-of-114 at the plate. Her .460 on-base percentage was 6th in the conference, while her .614 slugging percentage was 9th in the HCAC. Adams smashed five homers (8th in the HCAC) and drove in 32 runs which were 5th in the Heartland.

A two-time NFCA All-Region performer, Adams wrapped up her career at the top of the Bluffton record books with a ridiculous .417 batting average! Her .614 slugging percentage is 5th all-time at Bluffton, while her 15 homers are 6th all-time. She also finished 6th with 97 runs batted in. Adams stands 9th with 212 total bases and her six sacrifice flies are tied for 7th.

Not only was Adams a load at the plate, but she was an all-time great behind the dish. The signal caller was instrumental in Bluffton knocking nearly two earned runs per game off the team ERA from 2022 to 2023! She ended her time at Bluffton with a sparkling .978 fielding percentage which is tied for 10th all-time.
