BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Brianna Gillig (New Riegel) was named to the Heartland Conference All-Tournament Team after leading the Beavers to an HCAC semi-final appearance.

Gillig scored 33 points on 11-of-25 shooting from the field in the 68-63 loss to Anderson on Friday, Feb. 25. She finished the tournament with 45 points and 27 rebounds, posting back-to-back double-doubles against Franklin and Anderson.

The sensational senior finished her career as the all-time leading scorer at Bluffton with 1,426 points. Her 499 made field goals are also at the top of the list. Gillig finished with 755 career rebounds (3rd all-time) and her 242 boards as a senior established a new single-season mark.

A four-time All-Heartland Conference selection, Gillig notched her second straight first team award in 2021-22. She was on the HCAC All-Freshman team her first season and followed that up with Second Team All-HCAC as a sophomore.
