Bluffton cards a 352 on day one of Manchester Invite

WABASH, Ind. – The Bluffton University women's golf team continued their season during day one of the Manchester Invite on Saturday, Sept.17. The Beavers faced off against Defiance College, Mount St. Joseph College and Manchester University, all rivals from the Heartland Conference. After day one, Bluffton sits in third place out of four total teams with a round one score of 352.

Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) fueled Bluffton with an 84 to sit tied for sixth place after day one. Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) followed up with an 86, placing her ninth on Saturday. Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) and Sara Kroeger (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) both earned top 20 spots with scores of 89 and 93, respectively.

Shelby Stammen (Fort Recovery) was just one spot outside the top 20 with a 104. Rounding out the scorers were Isabel Miller (Dayton/Centerville) and Cheyanne Bolden (Sidney), going 105 and 111 on Saturday.

The women are back in action on Sunday, Sept. 18, for day two of the Manchester Invite. Go Beavers!
