Women fire a 343 on Sunday at Allegheny

MEADVILLE, Penn. - The Bluffton University women were unfazed by the Pennsylvania weather on Sunday, shooting a 343 at the Guy and Jeanie Kuhn Memorial which is the 2nd best 18-hole score in Bluffton history. The Beavers stand in seventh place heading into the final round on Monday.

Allie Waggener (Hilliard) continued her hot scoring with a 79 on Sunday, good for third all-time on the Bluffton record list. Fellow freshman Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) was next in line with an 86. Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) and Shelby Stammen (Fort Recovery) went 88 and 90, respectively, while Sara Kroeger (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) chimed in with a 93.

The Beavers will be back at the Country Club of Meadville on Monday, Sept. 26, for round two of the Guy and Jeanie Kuhn Memorial.
