HARROD, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's golf team placed third at the ONU East Classic on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Bluffton followed up its 347 on Good Friday with a 356 on Saturday for a total of 703.

Sophomore Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) went 84-82 for a 166 and just off her pace was senior Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) who chimed in with a 170 (82-88).

Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Darby) shot 86-87 for a 173, while fellow sophomore Shelby Stammen (Fort Recovery) rounded out the scoring four with a 194. Freshman Sara Kroeger (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) finished her weekend with a 205.

Cheyanne Bolden (Sidney) shaved 12 strokes off her Good Friday score with an even 100 on Saturday, while Isabel Miller (Dayton/Centerville) carded a 106 on day two.

Bluffton will now go into training mode with the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship next on the agenda. The newly minted three-day event will kick off at Moose Landing Golf Club outside of Kiefferville on Friday, April 28.
