Beavers wrap up Music City Shootout

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. - The Bluffton University women's golf team wrapped up its first competition of the spring with an 11th place finish at the Music City Shootout. Bluffton shot a 362 on Sunday after firing a 351 on Saturday for a total weekend score of 713.

Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) led the Beavers with an 87, giving her a 180 for the 36 holes. Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) and Hope Manning (South Charleston/Southeastern) went 88 and 89, respectively, adding up to 171 for Cline and 173 for Manning in her first tournament as a Beaver.

Shooting identical rounds of 98 were freshmen Jordan Hemmelgarn (Coldwater) and Alyssa Begoon (New Madison/Tri-Village) who both carded 98's for 189 and 197, respectively. Gabby Green (Beavercreek/Carroll) finished with a 101, while Cheyanne Bolden (Sidney) chipped in with a 117.

Bluffton will continue its spring break travels, heading to Alabama on Monday before a hitting the links again on April 5-6 for the Polar Beaver Invititional, hosted by Bluffton and Ohio Northern!
