BLUFFTON, Ohio - Sophomore Evie Masters (Arcadia/Van Buren) has been named the HCAC Defensive Player of the Week after helping lead Bluffton to a 4-0 shutout at Manchester in the 2022 regular-season finale. Masters is the second women's soccer player to earn Player of the Week honors, following the path paved by Nina McGinn who collected offensive player of the week after a September hat trick at Grace Christian.

Masters powered a Bluffton defense that did not allow a shot in last Wednesday's 4-0 shellacking of the Spartans at Manchester. She played all 90 minutes and put a shot on goal.
