BLUFFTON, Ohio - Freshman Grace Beck has been named the HCAC Swimmer of the Week for her work at Anderson on Friday, Oct. 6. It marks the first HCAC Swimmer of the Week ever at Bluffton University!

Beck kicked off her collegiate swimming career with 2 first-place finishes, 2 third-place showings and 3 school records. She broke the 200 freestyle school record by 20 seconds, and was eight seconds ahead of the second-place finisher at Anderson on Friday night. Beck also broke the 50 freestyle school record by three seconds and was three seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.

Bluffton will be back in the pool on Friday, Oct. 20, when the Beavers travel to Hiram College for a 6 p.m. meeting with the Terriers.
