BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University sophomore Sydney Grisier (Bryan) has been named the Heartland Conference Diver of the Week for her performance at Baldwin Wallace over the weekend. It marks the third HCAC Athlete of the Week this fall for Bluffton Swimming and Diving following a pair of Grace Beck (Lima/Homeschooled) Swimmer of the Week honors!

Grisier got in on the record-breaking action, scoring a 252.40 over 11 dives on the 1-meter board at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday. Her 143.65 in the six-dives final is 2nd all-time for the Beavers. She finished 1st in the 11 dives and 3rd in the six dives. Grisier also teamed with Havin Montague (Celina), Savannah Fritz (Temperance, Mich./Temperance Bedford) and Grace Beck on a school record in the 200 yard freestyle relay as they went 2:13.20!

Bluffton will be off for the holidays before a short trip to Ohio Northern where it will compete in a tri-match with the Polar Bears and Wooster on Friday, Jan. 12.
