Kendra Parmenter named HCAC Player of Week

Oct. 28, 2013

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Kendra Parmenter (Grove City) helped the Beavers to a pair of HCAC wins last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week on offense.

Parmenter finished the week with 41 kills and just 12 errors for a .282 hitting percentage as the Beavers swept
Manchester and Earlham in league play. The sophomore outside hitter added seven digs and three block assists to her stat line as well.

The standout spiker blistered Earlham with 13 kills and a single error on just 24 swings for a .500 hitting percentage on Saturday. Her 13 kills against Trine later that afternoon gave her six straight matches with at least 13 kills, including a season-high 18 against Franklin on Homecoming that started the impressive run.

Bluffton (12-16, 4-3 HCAC) will close the regular season schedule against Defiance and Transylvania this week. The Beavers host rival DC at 7 p.m. in the Sommer Center on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Come out and support the women in their final regular-season home match of the 2013 campaign.
