BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Remi Bower (Deshler/Patrick Henry) led Bluffton to a 2-0 mark last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week on offense.

Bower led the Beavers to a pair of 5-set wins over Earlham on Friday night. She finished with 26 kills in her eight sets for 3.25 KPS. She also led the Beavers with eight aces, while adding three blocks and 14 digs.

Bluffton moved to 7-0 and 1-0 in the Heartland Conference, while Earlham opened its season with an 0-2 mark. Night one of Heartland Conference volleyball saw the Beavers rally twice from 2-0 deficits to take down Earlham in 10 heavyweight sets on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021.
