BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Cassidy Posey (Paulding) has been named the Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week for volleyball on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021.

Posey led the Beavers to a 3-1 mark at the Ginny Hunt Kilt Classic over the weekend. She pounded a career-high 24 kills in a five-set loss to host Wooster while hitting .327 for the match. The senior middle finished the week with 63 kills (3.32 KPS), 4 blocks, 13 digs and a .222 hitting percentage.

Bluffton will hit the road again on Tuesday to start off another busy week. The Beavers make the short trip up Interstate 75 to tangle with NCAA Division II Findlay, Coach Yarnell's alma mater, at 7 p.m. on Sept. 21.
