Campbell named HCAC Player of the Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Kaylie Campbell (Camden/Preble Shawnee) has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week after dominating her opposition in four Beaver victories.

Campbell hit a blistering .391 with 46 kills on just 92 swings as Bluffton went 4-0 on the week while improving to 12-4 on the season. She also led the Beavers with 14 blocks, including five solos. Campbell rammed home a career-high 17 winners against just two measly errors for a ridiculous .517 hitting percentage against Wilmington on Wednesday and she was named to the Beaver Fall Classic All-Tournament Team after leading Bluffton to wins over Rochester, Capital and Olivet.

The women return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 28, when they finish up non-conference play at Denison University. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Granville. Go Beavers!
