BLUFFTON, Ohio - Basil Gates (Galion) has been named the HCAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week for his performance at Tiffin over the weekend.

Gates led the Beavers to a third place finish at the Tiffelberg Invitational on Friday night. The sophomore finished seventh in the 5K race, timing out at 20:45.4 and crossing the line behind just two Division III runners.
