BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Seth Burkholder (Bluffton/Bluffton) has been named special teams' football Player-of-the-week for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for the week ending Oct. 2, 2005.

Burkholder came up big in the Beaver's victory over Manchester 59-7 on Saturday, October 1. Seth connected on all eight of his PAT attempts and tacked on a 34-yard field goal in the second quarter to finish with a team-high 11 points. He was equally as productive as the team's punter. His net yards per punt were an outstanding 38.6, including two punts over 50 yards and three which left the Spartans inside their own 20-yard line.

Bluffton will play host to Anderson University on Saturday, October 15 in the annual Homecoming game. Kickoff at Salzman Stadium is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
