Cosby named First Team All-Heartland Conference

All-HCAC Release

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Heartland Conference released its 2021-22 All-HCAC selections on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022. Showing out with his second straight First Team All-HCAC honor was senior Jameel Cosby (Springfield/Kenton Ridge).

Cosby was one of just six players from the 10 Heartland Conference teams to be named First Team All-HCAC and he accomplished that feat in back-to-back seasons! The four-year starter at Bluffton led the HCAC with 20.6 PPG and his 7.4 RPG were 7th in the conference, quite a feat considering Cosby is a 6-1 guard. He hit 169-of-432 from the field (39.1 percent) while leading the Beavers in assists (60) and steals (36).

A senior season that saw Cosby put up 453 points helped him jump all the way to 17th on the all-time scoring list (1,218) thanks to a pair of 30-point games this season. Cosby ends his career tied for 15th all-time with 98 makes from outside the arc. His 206 assists are 18th on the all-time helper list.
