CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's soccer team limited host Ohio Christian to a pair of tallies late in the first half, but the Beavers came up just short on a hot Wednesday, Sept. 20. Bluffton slipped to 0-7 on the season, while OCU evened up its mark at 1-1.

Ohio Christian netted goals just three minutes apart in the final nine minutes of period one and made it stand up as the Trailblazers pitched a 2-0 shutout on Wednesday afternoon.

Both teams fired eight shots with Bluffton putting four on frame to just two for the home team. Freshman PATRICK SPILLMAN (Anderson, Ind./Frankton) put both of his shots on goal for the visitors.

Bluffton is off this weekend before returning to the Sears Complex next Wednesday, Sept. 27 for a matchup with the College of Wooster at 4 p.m.
