BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's soccer team welcomed Adrian College on Saturday, Oct. 17. It marked the lone home contest for the Beavers this fall.
At halftime, Bluffton honored senior Sergio Alvarez (Acworth, Ga.) who will graduate at the end of the semester with a major in business administration and a minor in IT. Alvarez made the most of his final match, drilling a penalty kick early in the second stanza! The Beavers also honored athletic trainer Sam McTee who has worked with both soccer teams the past two years.
Bluffton wrapped up its fall campaign on Saturday and now looks forward to the Heartland Conference season which kicks off with a trip to rival Defiance College on Wednesday, March 3.
