BLUFFTON, Ohio - For the second week in a row, Bluffton University is home to an HCAC Track and Field Athlete of the Week. Senior Connor Gulick (St. Louisville/Utica) won the 800 meter run at the Ohio Northern Polar Bear Final Qualifier in a lifetime best of 1:59.03. It is the fourth fastest time of any HCAC competitor so far this season. 

For his work in the pole vault at Anderson, Justin Kauffman (Smithville) was named the Heartland Conference Male Field Athlete of the Week just one week ago. 

Bluffton will now shift its efforts outdoors as the Beavers compete next Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, in Myrtle Beach, SC, at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite.
