BLUFFTON, Ohio - Junior shortstop LINDSEY MILLER (Wapakoneta/Wapakoneta) was recently named Player of the Week in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference following her performance at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Florida.

Junior Lindsey Miller provided the punch for a Bluffton University softball team that went 5-5 during Spring Break in Florida. Miller was a tough out all week, going 17-of-33 at the plate for a team-high .515 batting average. She launched a home run in the final game against Ferrum and finished the week with five doubles for a .758 slugging percentage. Miller drove in 11 runs and crossed the plate nine times, both team highs. She posted an on-base percentage of .553 and drew three walks.

The Beavers return to action on Thursday, March 13, when they host a doubleheader with Indiana Tech. The first game is slated to start at 3 p.m.
